When you try to open a document from Webtop, Webtop gets stuck saying: "initializing plug-in".
Cause : The browser that has the problem does not have the Java VM active.
Resolution :
In Internet Explorer 6 do: Tools => Internet Options => Advanced tab and scroll down to about the middle of the option list.
If Microsoft's JVM is installed, there will be a section in this list called "Microsoft VM". Make this active by checking it.
If a Sun JVM is installed, there will be a section in this list called "Java (Sun)". Make this active by checking it.
After you have made these changes, restart your browser and Webtop should work as expected.

Hi, I'm having this problem and have followed these steps but the problem is not going away. any other ideas?

Restarting your machine may help. Some times though these settings are made, may not get updated internally.
